I am a research associate at Sebis since April 2016.
Before joining Sebis, I worked as an SAP consultant at Reply for more than three years. My main focus was the implementation of customer processes in their SAP CRM systems, predominantly in the utilities and retail industry.
I obtained my diploma degree in business mathematics (Finanz- und Wirtschaftsmathematik, Dipl. Math.oec.) from TU Munich in 2012 with a thesis on variance reduction techniques in Monte Carlo option pricing. During the course of my studies, I spent a year at Universidad de las Américas Puebla and worked in student positions in the automotive and finance industry.

I am currently offering a thesis topic (Bachelor or Master) in collaboration with a partner in the consulting industry. Your assignment will be to assess the impact of the new data subject rights introduced with the GDPR, such as the right of access or the right to data portability.
You will collect quantitative information on these data subject rights in different companies. Then you will conduct interviews with these companies in order to derive requirements for artifacts or software supporting the implementation of data subject rights.
Please note: German is required for this thesis!
The GDPR is assumed to drastically change how personally identifiable information (PII) is handled. With the new regulation in place since May 2018, it is now possible to observe the effects in practice.
In this thesis topic, you will analyze how public APIs listed on ProgrammableWeb have changed. Has PII been omitted due to the GDPR? Do the post-GDPR Interfaces include new information, such as the legal basis for processing?
