We are having an open house!

What is an open house? For an entire day on April 1, 2025, we are opening our offices to any and all students who are interesting in learning about what goes on in our research group. Interested in learning how the magic happens? Come on by.

When and where? Our offices are located in the FMI building on TUM’s Garching campus. The main meeting point will be here: https://nav.tum.de/room/5612.01.035

What to expect? Although you are free to drop by whenever, we will be releasing a schedule closer to the event, which will outline when specific research introduction talks or other mini-events will take place. Make sure to be registered for the event to receive this information.

This is a great opportunity to meet our awesome team, as well as to explore your interest in research, a thesis, or PhD opportunities. As an added bonus, there will be refreshments (food and drinks) served throughout the day :)

The Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems is offering an exciting seminar Natural Language Processing - Methods and Applications in the upcoming summer semester 2025.

The seminar Natural Language Processing - Methods and Applications includes various topics such as Text Classification and Word Embeddings, as well as state-of-the-art topics including but not limited to Transformer Models, Knowledge Graphs, Large Language Models, Conversational AI, and Privacy. This seminar is an excellent chance for you to understand a topic of your choice and gain an overview of other topics by attending your peers' presentations.

For more information please attend the preliminary meeting on 10.02.2025 from 11:00 – 12:00. The meeting will be held on-site in the FMI building in Seminarraum 5607.01.023.

In case you cannot make it in person, we will offer an hybrid option - join the meeting on Zoom with this link. Attending in person is highly recommended, though!
