Open Position as Student Research Assistant in Privacy and Software Engineering

The Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems is looking for a motivated student to join the team as a student assistant within the research project Learn, Apply, Comply: Development of Continuing Education Materials on Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (LACE) at the earliest possible time.

Activities:

  • Research in the areas of Privacy, Privacy Compliance and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs)  
  • Preparation of educational materials on PETs
  • Scientific paper writing
  • Involvement in the implementation of a web-based e-learning platform

  • Depending on the activities:
    • Academic writing experience
    • Experience in full-stack web application development (JavaScript, React, Python, Flask, MongoDB)
    • Knowledge in configuring and maintaining web applications
