Four New Software Campus Projects

In the tenth year of the Software Campus program, four doctoral students from the sebis chair were selected as new participants: Oleksandra Klymenko, Sascha Nägele, Pascal Philipp and Phillip Schneider.

The Software Campus is a qualification program with the goal of imparting experience, skills and abilities to students and graduates of computer science and related study programs, accompanying their master’s thesis or doctorate, that are essential for achieving a leadership position in business. It is jointly financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), ten industrial partners (e.g. Volkswagen, DATEV, Holtzbrinck, Huawei, MediaMarktSaturn, ...) and eleven research partners (DFKI, KIT, TU Darmstadt, TU Munich, ...). Each project is funded with up to 100,000 euros over a maximum project duration of two years. Furthermore, each participant takes part in six training sessions from the industry partners on in the areas of leadership, methods as well as social and self-competences.

All descriptions of the new Software Campus projects can be found on the sebis research webpage. The original article is available here.
