Open HiWi Position in the area of Natural Language Processing

The Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems is looking for a highly motivated student to join the team as a student research assistant to do some exciting research work in the area of NLP.

Tasks

Your skills and expertise would be required to aid in a series of tasks, not limited to but including:

• Python development
• Experiments with latest NLP models
• exposure to research areas such as domain-adaptation, LLMs, knowledge injection, etc.

Requirements

For this position, we prefer students meeting the following requirements:

• Independent way of working
• Great analytical skills and the desire to contribute to research
• Advanced Programming experience in Python
• Familiarity with libraries such as huggingface and PyTorch
• Previous experience and knowledge of NLP and Deep Learning
• Ability to read research papers
