The Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems is looking for a highly motivated student to join the team as a student research assistant to do some exciting research work in the area of NLP & Legal Tech!
Tasks
Your skills and expertise would be required to aid in a series of tasks, not limited to but including:
- Software development
- Implementing and Evaluating OCR Pipelines for Legal Documents
- Literature Reviews
- Contact to Legal Practitioners
- Scientific Paper Writing

Requirements
For this position, we prefer students meeting the following requirements:
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Independent way of working
- Great analytical skills and the desire to contribute to research
- Programming experience (Python, JavaScript).
- Nice to have but not mandatory:
- Previous experience or courses related to Legal Tech and/or NLP.
- Conducting literature reviews experience.
