Trends for Enterprise Architecture Management and Tools survey launched

The research team members Sabine Buckl, Florian Matthes, Ivan Monahov, Sascha Roth, and Christian M. Schweda in cooperation with Detecon started a survey gathering future trends for enterprise architecture management and tools (TEAMT). Article on Buildings Blocks complementing TOGAF accepted at HICSS 2011

The article Complementing The Open Group Architecture Framework with Best Practice Solution Building Blocks has been accepted for publication at HICSS 2011. In the article the author team (Sabine Buckl, Thomas Dierl, Florian Matthes, and Christian M. Schweda) describe how the general prescriptions of TOGAF's ADM can be refined and detailed using best practice building blocks for EAM solutions. These building blocks rooting in the pattern based approach of sebis provide organizations with practical guidance for designing an organization-specific EA management function based on best-practices method and language components.
