Student Research Assistant - privacy in software engineering

The chair for Software Engineering for Business Information Systems is looking for Student Research Assistants to support work within the project "Umsetzungsmuster für die Erfüllung von Datenschutzanforderungen (Patterns for privacy compliance)" (UMEDA).



You will work on an existing prototype that incorporates state-of-the-art privacy research. Your job is to define additional user stories together with your supervisor, based on industry feedback. You will then independently implement the additional user stories.
Your work will help in accounting for privacy aspects in software development, while keeping the development process efficient.



  • Work on a hot topic in today's interconnected world
  • First hand insights in research an possiblity to extend to work into a Master's thesis
  • Flexibility in working hours



  • Experience in web development, in particular using React/Node/MongoDB
  • Indepedent work style, ability to solve problems
  • Basic knowledge about privacy regulation and software engineering processes is a plus
