Research Paper on Structural Model Pattern Matching Accepted at TEAR 2013
Sep 4, 2013
A research paper has been accepted at the 8th Trends in Enterprise Architecture Research Workshop. The author team (Sascha Roth, Matheus Hauder, Marin Zec, Alexej Utz and Florian Matthes) introduces a novel wizard for data visualizations supporting end-users to configure so-called databindings mapping complex interlinked information models to predefined visualizations. Thereby, an incremental model pattern matching is employed limiting the solution space to feasible configurations based on initial end-user choices. While our visualization toolkit can be applied to general purpose visualizations, we argue for a particular practical relevance especially within automated Enterprise Architecture documentation endeavors.
