Open Position as Student Research Assistant for Legal Text Analytics

The Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems is looking for a motivated student to join the team as a working student within the research projects Lexalyze and Semantic Analysis and Structuring of Contracts at the earliest possible time.

Activities:

  • Involvement in the implementation of modern, web-based, and collaborative information systems to analyse legal texts
  • Contribution to the design and implementation of a contract analysis platform
  • Further development of a word add-in

Requirements:

  • Reliable, motivated, and autonomous student with very good server infrastructure skills
  • Programming skills
    • Obligatory: Java and Python as well as frontend development (Java Script, especially React)
    • Desireable: Angular and AngularJS, ES6, Web Components, Development of Word add-ins
  • Knowledge in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Knowledge in Machine Learning (ML)
  • Knowledge in configuring and maintaining Web Applications
