EAM - MiniProject

Outline of the supporting mini-project

Teams of 4 students collaboratively work on a small real-world EA management project within an international Munich-based enterprise (Allianz, Bayerischer Rundfunk, HVB IS UniCredit Group, Wacker Chemie). The task of the project is defined by industry partners in cooperation with sebis and  builds on the conceptual basis of the lecture (in particular the EA Management Pattern Catalog). Since we expect ~40 participants, there will be 10 teams at 7 different enterprises.

Each project consists of the following activities

  • Analysis of the existing EA management practices and the status of the current EA
  • Project planning
  • Meetings with stakeholders
  • Information collection
  • Creation of EA deliverables (models, process descriptions, visualizations, recommendations)
  • Two presentations to the other teams and to the industry partner  (Initial and final in German or English)
  • Compilation of a project report (15-20 pages in English)

  • May 6th (6pm, MI 00.13.009A): Assignment of student teams to projects and industry partners
